the AI notes app
you can actually own.

describe it, yoink it, done. Yoinko turns plain language into full pages, asks any LLM you want, and saves everything as markdown on your own disk.

what makes it different

  • the + button lets you describe a new section in plain language and the AI drafts it inline
  • the drawer on the right is a chat that knows the current page as context
  • bring your own LLM — OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint
+ click to add a section · or describe one to AI

fewer buttons. more yoinking.

the four things Yoinko actually does well.

describe it, yoink it

hit + and tell the AI what you want. a table comparing your options. a changelog entry. an onboarding checklist. it drafts, you edit.

the drawer knows your page

ask anything on the right. the AI has your current page as context — no copy-paste, no re-explaining what you're working on.

your folders are your nav

the menu is your folder tree. numbered prefixes order it. markdown files open inline. there's no hidden sauce — your files are the database.

any LLM, your keys

OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. you bring the key, you pay for the tokens, Yoinko just orchestrates.

two ways to yoink.

run it yourself for free, or let us run it for coffee money.
